Elegant summer style that uplifts you appearance. The way you dress and the way you carry yourself shows how you treat yourself. Only a glace is enough to scan 50% of your personality. Everyone has their own way of presenting themselves in society, my way bends more towards elegance. We all want to throw our clothes off in summers, isn’t it? HaHa! I get it. But let’s see how we can do that without cheapening our appearance.
Tip #1: Choose linen or cotton shorts, rather than denim. (I am screaming).
If you are that woman who prefer wearing hot pants barely covering her bottom area, then you do you babe, but this blog isn’t for you. Let me say this out in the open that I am not against skin showing, I am here to give you some better ideas to enjoy fashion in summer, in a most elegant and fun way. Tip #2: Choose colours that soothe the eyes.
Avoid wearing black in the summer (Obviously), it is not very flattering to the eyes and catches a lot of heat. Pastel colours are the best for the summer if you are travelling or working in the daytime. I have heard stories about my grandmother that she used to have a very different style than others in the entire town. People used to turn their heads in the streets when she used to pass by. He style was very elegant and she used to choose very subtle colours. May be I got it from her. Look at some of the outfits that you can wear at a pool party.
Tip #3: Dare to wear Hats.
Hats are not something we wear very often. However, hats are very convenient in summers. It protects your hair and your face from harsh sunlight. I wish I had those photos when I visited Rajasthan (A state in India) a few years back and wore a hat all the time during my travel and I have to admit, it was a lifesaver. I believe hats are so elegant and make you look very chic. One accessory you should not miss out this summer.
Tip #4: Summer ready at home
We always want to look adorable to ourselves as well at home and some great lingerie and shrugs are one of the best option for that. Invest in some nice cotton dresses, some bohemian dresses, and some boyfriend shirts as well. it will keep the allure alive. Choose nice material like linen, cotton, silk, satin. Cotton world and Marks&Spenser has some really good quality, elegant clothing which can be worn on a daily basis.
Tip #5:How can we forget to talk about footwear.
We want comfort, especially in summers. Although, I am still not a fan of shoes until they are slim. I loved all the looks of Deepika in the movie “Tamasha.” Those shoes are perfect for running errands. If you are going out during the day for a formal meeting then I would recommend you to choose smaller heels like 2-3 inches and preferably block heels, they are comfortable if you don’t know how long during the day you will be out. Stilettoes are for the night time, for a party or for a date. You don’t wanna wear stilettoes during the day, they might get uncomfortable and can make you look a bit too much.
